About Us
In 1933, Kadant Johnson invented the rotary pressure joint. The company quickly established a solid reputation for the design and manufacture of fluid handling products to meet the needs of a wide range of industrial applications. Today, Kadant Johnson is known throughout the world for its ability to integrate products with systems, service and technology, to create intelligent solutions for process industries.
PRODUCTS. In 1934, we introduced two pumpless condensate pumps: the Two Valve Trap and the Electrap. The Two Valve Trap was a float operated non-electric design. The Electrap used a 2-probe conductance level control for operation. Over the years, improvements have been incorporated in the Liqui-Mover pump offerings. This has led to years of trouble-free operation in pumping condensate.
Also in 1934, we launched our line of steam and compressed air separators. Vacuum Breakers were introduced in 1965. Thousands of vacuum breakers have been used to prevent steam coils from freezing, heat exchangers from failing due to water hammer, and textile dryer cans from collapsing (imploding). Johnson
INDUSTRIES. Kadant Johnson fluid handling products are used in rubber, tire, plastics, textile, paper, corrugating, and chemical plants as well as institutions
MANUFACTURING. Kadant Johnson has established a network of manufacturing sites in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. In every plant, in every country, we emphasize the highest possible quality standards for the design, manufacture and sale of our products.
